Okay, so heres the deal-e-o.....if your looking at these pictures and your thinking to yourself..."hmm....Tommy and Shannon are really hot".....thats BECAUSE THEY ARE!!! Uh...YEAH!!!! Okay so the first time I met these two I was thinking to myself...."Im gonna get some really good pics" and guess what...I DID. Wooohooo!
I had so much fun photographing Tommy and Shannon...they were so comfortable around each other and so lovey that it made for awesome pictures. Im not gett'n in anyones bizn's but Im thinking these two are gonna have some pretty darn good look'n kids! :)
I seriously love these two and CAN NOT wait until September when they get married. Love to you two! ~ah

Meet little Miss Morgan....yes she is THAT adorable and sassy too....mmm huh! We just love when she comes over to our house to play and she's so fun to photograph!!! Smooches. ~ah

So.....meet one of the cutest couples that I've ever met...."Whitney and Brian"...and let me just tell ya five minutes around these two lovebirds and your looking around to hug someone! They are THAT IN LOVE. They have SUCH a cool, romantic, sweet...and one of those indulging stories that you read about in a book. You know....one of those books where your so caught up in the love story that its almost not even real and the guy on the front cover looks like Fabio-but airbrushed really REALLY good. Prepare yourself because this story is going to make you say "ahhhh" just like it did mine.

Okay so....one boy and one girl wake up one morning in separate states, separate cities, living separate lives...board a plane to Cabo...yeah CABO....like CABO SAN LUCAS not really expecting much but a good time, good weather, an awesome beach etc etc...and what happens...uh huh....you got it friends....cupid fired his arrow and the rest is history. Here's two crazy kids on a fun filled trip not knowing they were set out to find each other-not knowing they were going to fall in love-not knowing they would be talking about the rest of their lives together. I know, I know...it makes me wanna cry to. It's okay. You can cry-I dang near did. Okay, so Im talking like I was there but Im honestly telling the story just like they told it to me...with a little mix-in like they do on the Geico commercials.

I just love these two! Their story is so touching, so inspiring so sureal that it makes you believe in fate and destiny and all that cool stuff you sprinkle pixy dust on to make come true. I am soooo happy these two found each other and so happy that Brian transferred to KC to be with Whitney which whom he is now happily engaged to....and yeah you guessed it...their getting married in no place other than Cabo San Lucas. Everyone now....."ahhhhhh".

And one more thing...yeah these two ARE really this cute....photoshop goes a long way but let e tell ya..I was up front and personal with these two and YES Brian is just as dreamy as he looks in the pics and Whitney well...what can I say...shes strikingly pretty. Gosh I love my job!!! Last weekend I had the pleasure of shooting three different shoots with three amazing girls!!! We had so much fun and each of their pictures were taken with a twist of grunge-which of course is the craze these days! You girls seriously rock and again-make me look so good!!!! It's girlfriend day!! Yeah Yeah!!!

So....me and a few of my girlfriends decided that every year we would take a girlfriend picture. (thank you Jarrod Hoskins photographer)-ha. You know...one of those memories you look back on in 50 years and say "ya know...I WAS pretty and Lord look how skinny I was". haha So...we scheduled the picture a month in advance so everyone who worked could take off, everyone who had KU plans could be there blah blah blah etc etc etc...All in good planning! Well the day we took the picture had to be the windiest day in HISTORY!!! I think the winds were clocked at 51mph!

Even with the wind blowing through our hair the pics turned out pretty good and we had a great time. Thank you girls-I love ya so much! We missed you Jeri Sunshine. Big Kiss. ~ah

Ah...this is little Anna Montana- we call her that because she LOVES Hanna Montana. :) Everyone needs an Anna in their life-she is one of the cutest little girls I've ever met-and she is SO POLITE! I love her!!! If you have any questions about horses just ask Anna because she knows everything about them!!!! We took this picture at Anna's favorite place-her horse barn! Uhm....has it really been that long since I blogged? Wow I am soooo not a good blogger. I told my photographer friends that I wouldnt be good at this...now look at me....its been forever since I blogged. Sorry friends. I know, I know....i keep getting emails from people wanting to know whats going on in the world of Amy and well....way too much that's why I havent blogged! :)
I've had several photoshoots that's keeping me busier than ever! I cant wait to post all my work.

I've had so much going on the last couple of months I really cant get it all in under one blog....probably the biggest news I have is that I left my full time job of ten years, plus two years of contracting work, at Sprint. I cant believe it either!! ha ha I had an opportunity to take a Voluntary Severance Package so...yep I did it. Honestly, I didnt even give it much thought-the company offered the package and well...I took it. I talked it over with Jarrod for roughly three minutes and submitted my separation...so VERY unlike me not to dissect it 180 degrees, sit on it for a year and then decide. haha. What can I say Im a planner! Thank you Jarrod for giving me the boost I needed! Im so very happy with my decision and this is allowing me to stay on top of things a little better in my photography world. Plus, I have some really cool stuff in the hopper with some old friends that Im going to be diving into (work wise) so Im absolutely thrilled with whats around the corner for me!

What else What else....

Oh...I surprised Jarrod not too long ago with a plane ticket to New Mexico to go skiing with his cuz'n Jud. Since he always puts on a smile with all of us girls in Colorado every year skiing I thought it would be good for him to have some "guy time". And...it allowed me to get caught up on some girlfriend time. Yeah you know who you are. Yep Yep.

The girls are doing great-driving us crazy as usual but in a good way. We are planning a trip to Chicago this summer because Emme is wanting to check out the Chicago Art Institute-she is an amazing artist and I know she is going to fall in love with my home away from home-CHICAGO! She is so anxious to go-the city is going to love her free spirit. Lexie is looking at colleges in Nashville-she is really wanting to go to Belmont and I hope she makes it there. She is a great singer and wants to play her banjo there. We have so much faith in her. We feel way too young to have girls talking "college stuff". UH!!! :) And then Marin...well Marin is just excited to get out of grade school and hang out at the pool this summer. Boys are still gross-which daddy loves. haha

So much else but so little time to type it all down. KU's on...so gotta run.

hello hello....jarrod and i (and girls) finally made it back from our Colorado ski trip.. we were actually home a day early because of all the snow and 80mph winds....yes i typed that out correctly....80MPH WINDS! we learned our lesson last year when we got stuck in the mountains!!! we had a great time AND nobody got hurt....well....except for me but i'm recovering nicely and trust me soaking up every ounce of attention i can! :)

lex and i had a great photoshoot last weekend at an old run down barn that we found near the house....i love this picture of her because it totally reveals this country girl at heart...not to mention her personality of being a risk taker for being up so high in the loft of an old barn! we had to laugh at the traffic creeping by to look at her....

This past weekend Bret, Kelly and I did our first photoshoot together. We had an awesome time and Bret was such a good sport for putting up with us girls for as long as he did! :) This is one of my favorite shots of the day....I love the way Bret is looking at Kelly in this picture-

So sorry I haven't blogged for the past few days Christmas has taken a tole on me and I've been real sick! :( I'm getting better though! Meet Jackson....who on 364 days out of the year is the smiliest little guy you will ever met! However on this day Jackson was not happy that his dad woke him up from a nap on a bittery cold day to get his picture taken. And guess what......it shows in every picture. ha

Lex and I went out for a fun-filled photoshoot in the snow with the temps at a blazing 18 degrees! We planned to do a shoot for about 45 minutes, but when we got there Lex realized she forgot her gloves, her coat was made more for a 50 degree day and that she forgot to put on socks with her slip on shoes! So needless to say we played in the snow for oh....well.......fifteen seconds! ha ha. God love the teenagers!
